An architect designing a school for a town, a tradesperson with a regional contract or a farmer receiving support from the agricultural paying agency: under Slovak law, self-employed individuals must also be entered in RPVS when money from the public sector goes over the legal limit. The good news is that there are no shareholdings or holding structures to analyse. The beneficial owner is the trader themselves.
Registration through an authorised person is still mandatory, and the verification document is prepared just as for a company. From you we need only a few documents: an ID, your business licence, your company ID number and the contract the registration is for. We sign the authorised person agreement electronically and file with the Žilina District Court.
For a sole trader, the beneficial owner is the self-employed individual. No ownership structure needs to be analysed.
ID card or passport, trade licence or other authorisation (such as a medical licence), company and tax ID numbers, permanent address and the purpose of registration.
They can act as authorised persons for others. If they become public sector partners themselves, they need their own registration.
