Some legal tasks do not belong to any one area of law, yet you cannot do without them. A filing with the Slovak Commercial Register has to be made electronically, a contract for the sale of land needs authenticating, a Slovak document must be used abroad, or a club needs setting up. These are shorter jobs where the right procedure and the prescribed form make the difference.
We help set up and use a qualified electronic signature, authorise contracts for the transfer of property, arrange apostilles or full legalisation of documents and prepare the statutes and registration of civic associations, non-profit organisations and foundations. The firm also acts as an authorised person for the Slovak Register of Public Sector Partners, which has its own page.
Since 17 August 2026, filings with the Slovak Commercial Register are made only electronically (Section 44(1) of Act No. 29/2026). The court fee is €220 for registering a new s.r.o. and €50 for registering a change.
The lawyer verifies the parties' identity, checks that the contract complies with the law, explains its consequences and attaches an authorisation clause. For the Land Registry, an authorised contract has the same standing as one with officially certified signatures.
An apostille is used for countries that are parties to the Hague Convention. For other countries, documents go through full legalisation.
